We are Brad and Sheila Crow. If you are a midlife traveler and want to learn how to up your travel game, welcome to our page! We’ve traveled to 45 countries across 6 continents and have years of experience to share with you. If your idea of travel is to explore different cultures, sip cappuccinos in Italy, lay on white sand beaches watching the sunset, or learn how to explore your own backyard, this site is for you. When we aren’t traveling you can find us either in Oklahoma City, OK, or Palm Springs, CA. When we married in 1995, we knew travel would be more than just a hobby. Early in our marriage we met an older woman on a flight from Cancun. She said she and her husband had always planned to travel when they retired, but he died before they could see the world together. Her advice? Never, ever, put off travel. Over the years we have heard stories similar to hers.
We made a conscious decision to heed her words of wisdom while raising children, completing higher education degrees, finding and losing employment, serious illnesses, and just plain working hard and living life. Sometimes our travel was a road trip pulling our camper to a State Park. Sometimes it was flying across the Atlantic for a weekend of eating fish and chips in London. No matter if we only had a few dollars in our bank account, we made an effort to get out and explore the world around us.
Our travel tastes are eclectic. We enjoy the sound of the ocean and sand between our toes, drinking craft cocktails with friends while listening to Jimmy Buffet, flying ✈ first class, and spending nights in luxury hotels. We are also up for the occasional offroad trip in the high country of Colorado.
It is our love for travel and all the benefits it brings that drove us to start this blog and engage with others who have or want the same passion. We hope you will enjoy what you find here!
